Scott B's 6.5prc and text!

This week I wanna talk about Scott's 6.5 prc and why I use text.

First off Scott ordered a 6.5 barreled action in a length I didnt have.

One short phone call and it seemed like we knew each other forever. Lots in common like work, guns, hunting, and more. I actually have a lot in common with alot of customers but seems like Scott and I just clicked. Gun conversations turned to family, friends (like Nate G), dogs, and machinery. Then Scott called and said " I gotta have a full build man". This is why building guns and having a straight forward, transparent relationship with my customers is important. Most customers turn to friends. If you are getting a gun built, or hell purchasing anything from anyone and

they dont have time to answer a call or text your at the wrong spot IMO. I see people on the BookFace holding up products, pitchin their deal, hunting all over but actually say they are to busy..... Wrong. Anyway back to the build.

Scott wanted lightweight so we went with a Grayboe Trekker, Zermatt action, Carbon stick chambered in 6.5prc 8T, M5 Aics medal, and triggertech trigger topped with a schmidt and Bender.

Shown here in the Pellican Vault with custom foam that I require if one sends an optic to me to mount. Just part of the deal but a very reasonable and essential addition.

This build was actually a cherry popper for me. The first build on a Trekker and I was truly impressed.

This gun shot great right of the lathe. Factor Hornady Precision Hunter and it bugholed. Just a great combo and set up for what Scott B needed. Fast , light, accurate, and powerful!

WHY TEXT?

Text messages is usually the best way to contact me. Then when we talk build and agree on a part set and price we both have a paper trail. Often I forget details or lengths and this helps me. Im mainly the needy one when it comes to paper trails. So even though I bitch and moan about howe cel phones and social media have ruined society, well its like WalMart, got to use it! I will emphasize something! I dont take payment until we talk on the phone. I feel if Im taking 6k from you and you trust me, a phone call is as close to eye to eye we can get.
